Listing hidden or removed
My listing is hidden while it is reviewed
It has been reported, or a decision is waiting for more information from you. A person reviews the case. If nothing is upheld, the listing goes back online and you are informed. During the review, it cannot be edited.
A photo was rejected
Each photo is compared with those already published here: a photo already used by another seller is refused. Take a photo of the item yourself; your own photo, reused from another of your listings, is accepted.
My photo “needs checking”
It has been saved, and the listing can go live with it: one photo is enough to publish. It is better to replace it with a photo you took yourself: a buyer can report an image taken from elsewhere.
Why is a listing removed?
For a reason provided for by law or by our rules: catalogue rules.
What does the decision contain?
The measure, the facts relied on, where they came from (a report or a check), the legal basis, any use of an automated tool and your options for appeal. Suspending an account, removing a live listing or a review, the outcome of a dispute: every decision is explained in writing and taken by a person. The one exception: a listing reported by several members can be hidden automatically, temporarily, while a person reviews it (2 working days at most). Every decision can be challenged, and it is then reviewed on the merits.
How do I challenge it?
Reply to the message you received, or write to contact@veriflip.app, with whatever supports your case. The decision is reviewed again and you get the answer in writing. You can also go to a certified dispute resolution body or to the courts: terms of sale.
Removed by me or by moderation?
Removed by you: “Put back on sale”, whenever you like. Removed by moderation: it comes back if your appeal succeeds.
What does the person who reported me know?
The decision taken. Neither your username nor what was found.
