Withdraw from a purchase made from a professional seller
You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving it, without having to give a reason.
Who can withdraw
You, if the item page and the payment screen showed “Professional seller” on the day of purchase.
Not when buying from a private individual: no withdrawal, no legal guarantee of conformity; the warranty against hidden defects applies. And the seller is paid 48 hours after delivery with no claim; earlier only if the buyer confirming receipt is verified. Until then, report a problem from My orders.

How to proceed
- Give notice before the time limit ends. In My orders, under the order, the “Withdraw from the contract here” button: enter your name and the address where you want the acknowledgement sent, then “Confirm the withdrawal”. An acknowledgement of receipt, timed to the minute, is sent to you straight away; the seller is notified and, if not yet paid, their payout is suspended. You can also write to the seller or use the form below.
- Send the item back at the latest 14 days later, to the address they give you. Return costs are yours if the seller told you so before your purchase; otherwise, they are the seller’s. Keep the proof of postage.
- The seller refunds you everything you paid for the item, original postage included, at the latest 14 days after being notified. They may wait until they get the item back or receive proof that it has been sent.
