What this service does
VeriFlip is a marketplace for second-hand items. It puts sellers and buyers in touch; it owns none of the items offered.
Our role is that of an intermediaryThe sales contract binds the buyer to the seller. We organise the payment and hold it until delivery, shipping, authenticity verification when requested, and the arbitration of disputes. The details of these rules are set out in the
terms of sale.
And a second activity, where we are the sellerWe also sell deux individual services — the accompanying certificate and the pre-purchase check — which concern items sold or bought on other platforms. For these, we are not an intermediary: we are the service provider, and the contract is concluded with us.
Their price, time frame and content are shown on each service’s page, and their contractual terms in the terms of sale.
Brands mentionedThe brand names on this site are used to describe the items offered by sellers. VeriFlip is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the brand. The seal “Photos reviewed by VeriFlip” refers to a review of the photos carried out by VeriFlip, and by VeriFlip alone: it is neither a certification by the brand nor a guarantee of authenticity issued in its name.
This also applies, without any qualification, to documents issued at the end of a paid service. A more expensive review requires more work; it says nothing more, and it does not say it on anyone’s behalf.
Intellectual property
The site’s structure, texts, templates and graphic elements are protected by copyright. The photographs and descriptions in listings remain the property of their authors, the sellers; by publishing a listing, a seller authorises us to display and distribute it for the purposes of the sale, and for as long as it lasts.
Complaints
Us first, then a third partyAny complaint can be sent to
contact@veriflip.app; the team replies by email. A report about a listing can also be submitted from the item page, without creating an account.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter free of charge to the Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur, an independent Belgian public service: North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 boîte 1, 1000 Bruxelles — www.mediationconsommateur.be — contact@mediationconsommateur.be — +32 2 702 52 20. Mediation is optional and does not deprive you of the right to go to court.
Applicable law
The site and this notice are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to the mandatory provisions protecting consumers in their country of habitual residence.
